      <image:caption>Jennifer trained as an SLT in 2003 she has since worked within the NHS, charity and independent sectors. She is passionate about supporting children to meet their full potential. Jennifer is an author of a clinical assessment - the Early Sociocognitive Battery and also a resource book for parents and educators of children with Autism Spectrum Condition. Jennifer specialises working with children with complex communication needs; she works as part of a multi-disciplinary team at the Child and Family Practice and also co-founder of London Child Development Clinic with her colleague Dr. McCarthy. Jennifer is able to offer multi-disciplinary assessments, individualised assessments, direct therapy and therapy programs for children and young people.       <image:caption>Rachael is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked across a number of different areas of mental health and physical health during her training and career to date.  Rachael specialises in assessing children with neurodevelopmental disorders including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disability and comorbid conditions including tics and Tourettes, as well as working with families to support their understanding of their child’s needs and behaviour. Rachael currently works within the NHS as well as working independently. Rachael is also experienced in carrying out neuropsychological/cognitive assessments to identify children’s learning strengths and difficulties including the identification of specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and attention difficulties.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Maddy is a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist who is fully registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy and the Health Care Professionals Council. She has a wealth of experience in supporting children and young people with a wide range of communication difficulties, working on a part-time basis at one of London’s most reputable specialist provisions for individuals with communication needs.  Maddy specialises in assessing and supporting individuals with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs, with a particular interest in Autistic Spectrum Disorder, social communication difficulties and associated mental health and behavioural difficulties. She has also helped to coordinate her school’s Relationships &amp; Sex Education (RSE) programme which she integrates successfully alongside Speech &amp; Language Therapy interventions where applicable.       <image:caption>Heather qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from City, University in London, in 2013. Since then, she has gained extensive experience of working with children and young people with a wide range of communication needs in clinic, mainstream and specialist educational settings and clients’ homes, across London and Surrey. She has a particular clinical interest in supporting children and young people with social communication difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and previously worked as the lead therapist for an ASD specialist educational setting in London. She has completed a range of post-registration courses including Hanen More than Words, Social Thinking and the SOS Approach to Feeding, to inform her therapeutic work in this area. Heather is ADOS-2 trained and also works as part of a multidisciplinary ASD diagnostic service based in London and the South East. She also has expertise in supporting young children who stammer, using the Lidcombe approach. Heather brings her sense of fun and passion for including the child’s interests and motivations to all her therapeutic work.  She holds an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy from City, University of London and an MA in Modern Languages from the University of Cambridge.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Bhavika is a highly specialist speech and language therapist with 17 years of experience working in the NHS. She has recently moved into independent practice to pursue her passion for carrying out direct speech and language therapy interventions with children and their families to help them to be confident communicators.   Bhavika has worked in a number of settings in Central London including community clinics, nurseries, primary and secondary schools and client’s homes. Bhavika has extensive experience working with a children from the ages of 18 months - 18 years with a range of communication needs. This includes: language delay, developmental language disorder, speech sound delay/ disorder, developmental verbal dyspraxia, social communication disorders including Autism, Down Syndrome Cerebral Palsy, learning difficulties including global developmental delay, selective mutism and dysfluency / stammering. Bhavika has a specialist interest in stammering and has undertaken a number of training courses in this area including Palin PCI, Lidcombe therapy and supporting school aged children who stammer.       <image:caption>Dr Abbie Moran is a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist and post-doctoral researcher, with over a decade of experience of working with children with language difficulties.  In 2022 she completed a doctorate at City, University of London, looking at the impact of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) on the development of Working Memory and Inner Speech in 6-10 year olds.  Passionate about continuing research to contribute to a robust evidence base for functional therapy, she has moved on from working for a large inner London NHS trust to focus on more specialist work alongside her academic pursuits and teaching. Abbie's specialist areas of interest include Developmental Language Disorder, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Language Development in the early years. Abbie is trained to administer the ADOS-2 as well as a range of speech and language assessments, including for EHCP applications and appeals. She loves to deliver practical interventions and support parents through programs such as Hanen More than Words.  Abbie also runs a weekly 'stay-and-play' session in south-east London specifically focussed on supporting families who have concerns about their child's language development. As well as lots of singing, signing and interactive story-telling, the group holds space to provide tips and reassurance for parents and carers.
